With an extremely wide range of applications, the pipes are not only used for conveying conventional low-pressure fluids such as water, gas and oil for general industrial and civil pipeline projects, but also applicable for special working conditions in the petroleum industry, widely used as oil well pipes and oil transmission pipes for offshore oil fields. In addition, they serve as core matching pipes for oil heaters and condensation coolers of chemical coking equipment, and can also be used as load-bearing and protective pipe piles for engineering trestles, meeting complex construction needs of multiple scenarios.
Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes rely on the chemical reaction between molten metal and iron substrate to form an alloy layer, which tightly bonds the substrate and the coating together. The hot-dip galvanizing process starts with pickling the steel pipe to eliminate iron oxide on its surface. After pickling, the pipes are cleaned in a tank filled with ammonium chloride solution, zinc chloride solution, or a mixed solution of both, and then transferred into the hot-dip galvanizing bath. Hot-dip galvanizing boasts outstanding advantages including uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.
