Zinc oxide lightning arrester is a safety protection device that shields electrical equipment from overvoltage damage caused by lightning strikes. It remains insulating under normal operating conditions and conducts electricity to discharge lightning current when lightning surges occur. Installed in parallel with protected equipment, it limits the amplitude of overvoltage and diverts lightning current into the ground so as to prevent equipment breakdown.
They rely on elastic retraction force at ambient temperature instead of thermal heating required for heat-shrinkable cable accessories, hence they are generally known as cold-shrink cable accessories."
It adopts platinum-cured rubber tubes with outstanding tear resistance and moderate radial shrinkage rate. Reinforcing ribs arranged at the ends of sealing tubes and insulating straight tubes effectively upgrade sealing and moisture-proof performance.
Made of imported liquid silicone rubber, it features excellent tracking resistance without tracking marks under operating conditions.
It realizes a long creepage distance, fully encapsulates and protects the cable integrally, so as to guarantee safer operation of the cable system.
