How to make a cable tray at a 45-degree angle

The construction method for a 45-degree cable tray is as follows:

Isosceles Triangle Cutting Method:
Measure a 15cm length from the side of the cable tray and take 0.8 as the height. Mark these two points on the bottom of the cable tray.

Divide this distance (15cm) into three equal parts, adding the two previously marked points.

Connect these three points to form a 45° isosceles triangle (use the same method on the other side).

Cut along the sides of the triangle to form a 45° bend.

Calculate and cut the second triangle:

Multiply the required height by 1.41 to obtain the position of the innermost vertex.

Mark this vertex on the cable tray and connect it with the edge point formed by the previous cut to form a second 45° triangle in the opposite direction.

Cut this triangle to complete the construction of a 45° zigzag bend.

Formula Method:

When climbing at a 45-degree angle, multiply the cable tray height by 0.8, then divide the result into three equal parts and draw three lines to form a bend. The hypotenuse is the climbing height multiplied by 1.41.

This method is simpler and suitable for situations requiring rapid calculation and cutting.

Precautions: - Before cutting, be sure to confirm the dimensions of the cable tray and the required bending angle to avoid wasting materials and affecting performance. - Use appropriate tools to ensure a smooth and accurate cut. - After completion, check that the bent parts of the cable tray are smooth, without deformation or damage.
